This bluesy number, boasts an ultra-minimal arrangement, as Staples sings self-affirming lyrics over a raw bass groove. Recently, Toronto-based Beams came by the Exclaim! office to perform a song from their debut album, Just Rivers, which comes out today (May 14). The seven-piece self-described "art-country indie folk rock band" lived up to their classification, demonstrating a tight performance despite their size. They featured a wide variety of instrumentation including a lap steel, singing saw, mandolin, and banjo, pulling them off with vigour to deliver a strong rendition of "How Wonderful."
