By Exclaim! StaffThe Lawrence Arms took part at the first ever Riot Fest in Toronto, but the night before, bassist Brendan Kelly was performing a solo acoustic set at the infamous Bovine Sex Club. Exclaim! caught up with Kelly at the Bovine where he treated us to unreleased song.
Kelly claims that this performance of "The Profiteers" was the first in North American and fans may hear a slightly different version of this tune in an upcoming Lawrence Arms album. Until then, this is the only place where you can hear Kelly's new tune.
