By Roberto Granados-OconThere are fewer than five days till Christmas, but that doesn't mean we're even close to wrapping up Booker's Holiday Spectacular. In this instalment, Will Whitwham and Amanda Balsys of Toronto folk unit the Wilderness of Manitoba pop by Booker's pad to perform a couple of tunes.
First, watch Amanda take lead vocal duties on the Wilderness of Manitoba's cover of Joni Mitchell's "River." Not quite the festive number, but does remind us of why we love the Canadian winter so much during the holidays. Below that, watch the Wilderness of Manitoba perform a pared down rendition of "Chasing Horses" from their latest album, Island of Echoes. Will and Amanda weren't the only ones to pay a visit to Booker's that afternoon, either; keep your eyes peeled for a special guest.
We have more performances from Booker's living room, including appearances by Kashka and Nick Rose (of Sweet Thing), so stay tuned: we're putting episodes up till Christmas Day.
