By Gregory AdamsBeloved Swedish hardcore act Refused thrilled the masses earlier this year when they announced their reunion after a 14-year layover, and last night (February 29) the act gave fans at a secret show in their hometown of Umeå the first taste of what's to come.
Down below, you'll see a couple fan-shot concert clips pulling deep into the band's catalogue. Jud-judding guitars ruled the roost as Refused dropped into the military-roll-minded, Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent single "Rather Be Dead," while early tune "Everlasting" had the place crowd surfing and attempting a circle pit in its double-time bridge.
Just imagine how nuts it got when the troupe broke out the new, well, old noise.
