"After You" (prod. by James Murphy)
By Josiah HughesBritpop legends Pulp have followed some reunion shows by hitting the studio with none other than James Murphy. The former LCD Soundsystem mastermind teamed up with Jarvis Cocker and co. on their new track "After You."
As could be expected, Murphy lends some trademarks of his classic DFA production, with disco benchmarks, fuzzy bass and layers of instrumentation. The track was recorded in November, and marks the first new material from Pulp in ten years.
