"Andrew in Drag" (video)
By Brock ThiessenWe already heard Magnetic Fields' new Love at the Bottom of the Sea single "Andrew in Drag," so it's no big surprise that the song has now received its own music vid. Even if Stephin Merritt isn't exactly known as an artist who's prolific on the music video front.
Courtesy of NPR, you can watch the semi-NSFW video below. It was directed by Scott Valins, and as Merritt explained to NPR, "[The song's] about a straight guy who falls madly in love with the drag persona of his straight friend Andrew."
Love at the Bottom of the Sea arrives via Merge Records on March 6.
