By Alex HudsonKalle Mattson has logged more than a million views for the video accompanying last year's "Thick as Thieves," and now the Ontario songwriter has re-teamed with director Kevin Parry for another clip. This one is for "Water Falls" from his recent Lives in Between EP.
This eye-grabbing clip mixes images of a spiralling record with fast-forward shots of life passing by. It's particularly notable for its dizzying zoom-ins and gorgeous scenic shots of San Francisco, CA. This serves both as a fitting accompaniment to the introspective folk rock tune and a beautiful homage to the Bay Area.
Re: cinthiaciton Mattson is my middle name, it's a "stage name" if you will. Yes I have a band that plays with me but it's a somewhat revolving door of people. I write all the songs and majority of the parts.
Re: jetboy24 The million view for Thick As Thieves was spread out over 5 different sites (2 YouTube versions, Vimeo, Break.com etc.)
