By Alex HudsonSaskatchewan's Foam Lake independently released their debut album Force and Matter back in 2011, and now they've signed to Aporia Records for a reissue on October 9. This re-release will include two bonus tracks, one of which you can preview now.
"The Fall" is quirky pop rock number that mixes cheery keyboards with sunny melodies and shapeshifting rhythms. This upbeat pop sound makes perfect sense when you consider that Force and Matter was recorded with Dave Carswell of Vancouver production team JC/DC, who has worked with the likes of the New Pornographers and Hot Panda.
