Doldrums - "Egypt"
By Sarah MurphyFormer Spiral beach guitarist and vocalist Airick Woodhead has been creating music under his Doldrums moniker for a while, releasing the Empire Sound EP back in fall. Now he has signed to UK-based label Soutterain Transmissions, which also serves as home to Zola Jesus and Crocodiles.

On June 4, Doldrums will put out his first release for his new label, an EP entitled Egypt. It will be available both digitally and on vinyl, featuring the seven-minute title track and new cuts "Jump Up" and "Copper Girl."

Below you can stream "Egypt" and if you like what you hear, it's available for free download.
