By Alex HudsonLet's hope you have a whole lot of time on your hands this Monday afternoon. Caribou's Dan Snaith just released his album Jiaolong under the dance-oriented moniker Daphni, and he's now shared the seven-and-a-half-hour DJ mix that he performed for the release party, plus a new music video.
The party took place on October 5 at the Bussey Building in London, UK. Snaith posted his entire DJ set on SoundCloud and wrote, "All 7.5 hours are here — warts and all. Apologies for the occasionally crunchy sound quality and periodic lapses in mixing. It's only split into two parts because it was too long to upload as one file."
Also below is a video for the Jiaolong track "Ahora." Like the other clips in support of the album, the visuals for the beat-heavy electro cut are just a whirl of brightly flickering colours, meaning that it looks more like a random visualizer than a real music video.
