By Alex HudsonWe knew that this would be coming soon: here's the first single from Chad VanGaalen's new album, Diaper Island. It's for album cut "Sara," which we previously heard live-in-studio.

It's a gorgeous acoustic cut, with layers of VanGaalen's rickety acoustic guitar supported only by his fragile vocals, some distant harmonies and an intro of whistling. This certainly sounds nothing like his recent Your Tan Looks Supernatural EP, but we're looking forward to Diaper Island even more now.

Diaper Island drops on May 17 via Flemish Eye/Sub Pop.
