By Alex HudsonAs a complement to their farewell tour, Alexisonfire are releasing a swan song EP called Death Letter containing new versions of six old tunes as performed by guitarists Wade MacNeil and Dallas Green. The EP is out now on Dine Alone Records, and you can stream the whole thing at Exclaim.ca.
Much of the collection features mellowed-out acoustic cuts that sound more like Dallas Green's City and Colour project than typical Alexisonfire, although "You Burn First" and "Burial" have hints of grit and noise. Check it out for yourself below.
