Acres of Lions - 'Home(s)' (album stream)
By Alex HudsonBusy British Columbians Acres of Lions are currently on tour in Canada, and their latest album, Home(s), arrives on April 2 through Cordova Bay Records. Before this third LP officially arrives, you can stream the whole thing on Exclaim.ca

Lead single "Bright Lights" opens the album with distorted guitars and climactic pop-rock energy. The rest of the album offers more upbeat songs such as this one, and also includes some more delicate moments, like the piano-assisted "Prairie Fire," the folksy "Great Escape" and the waltz-time title track.

According to an announcement from the label, "The band's aggressive pop rock tendencies are still intact, while the new single features a more mature and fresh songwriting outlook."
