By Gregory AdamsKids have been getting the royal indie rock treatment from Yo Gabba Gabba for years, so it was only a matter of time before Canadian faves Broken Social Scene got into the act. Considering last week's Sesame Street scandal, we'll bet that the jeans and foam-hat combo that Kevin Drew was sporting at a recent Yo Gabba Gabba gig seemed so much more appropriate to parents.
Leading the crowd, as well as his bandmates and some gleeful costumed critters, through the "Peanut Butter Stomp", the bearded musician stomped his feet and squished his sneakers into the ground like there was no tomorrow. Then everyone busted a move in front of some tripped-out, psychedelic backdrop to an upbeat electro beat. It looks kind of weird, actually.
