While Toronto electronic duo Zeds Dead will be travelling throughout North America as part of the Mad Decent Block Party this summer, they're also apparently ready to take us Somewhere Else via a new EP of the same name. Mad Decent will deliver DC and Hooks' latest release on July 1.
A press release notes that the follow-up to last year's Hot Sauce EP covers "a wide spectrum of electronic music" and finds the duo collaborating with a diverse roster of talent. Twin Shadow (a.k.a. George Lewis Jr.), for instance, was tapped to co-write and sing the house-styled first single "Lost You," which also features vocals from D'Angelo Lacy.
