Toronto-based EDM heroes Zeds Dead are twisting up the songs from last year's "Somewhere Else" EP, with a complementary remix EP due May 12 through Mad Decent. Before it arrives in full, you can stream a house-styled revamp of the outfit's "Collapse" single with producer Memorecks.
While similar in sound to the OG track, the reworked "Collapse 2.0" fills up some of the original's airier moments with a steadier four-on-the-floor, skronking synths and various dance music textures. Just as smooth, though, are singer Jenna Pemkowski's cloudy vocals. You can sample the spit-shined single down below.
Somewhere Else Remixes also features a remix of "Collapse" from Nebbra, and alternate versions of "Hadouken," "Bustamove," "Lost You" and more. The guest list includes Neon Steve, Kove, Sleepy Tom, among other artists.
