R&B singer Erykah Badu has had no shortage of controversies in her lengthy career, from performing for a Swazi king and coming under fire for a tattoo to her "Window Seat" video. Her latest move, however, has no sociopolitical undertones. It's just downright hilarious.
Over the weekend, PIX 11 broadcaster Mario Diaz was delivering a story about Shia LaBeouf's recent arrest from a New York street corner. While he was talking, a familiar-looking woman in a large hat walked onscreen multiple times.
She flashed her blazer open, pantomimed sex with her hands and eventually lunged at Diaz for a kiss. And yes, that person was Badu.
The singer initially denied that it was her on Twitter, before all but admitting it with the following tweet:
