White Fence's Tim Presley and Cate Le Bon Team Up as DRINKS

BY Alex HudsonPublished May 19, 2015

San Francisco's Tim Presley and Welsh-born Cate Le Bon both have fruitful careers in their own right; the former has released a string of albums as White Fence, and the latter is a respected solo songwriter. Now, they've teamed up for a collaborative project called DRINKS, with an album coming out this summer.

The collection is called Hermits on Holiday, and it's due out on August 21 through Birth Records/Heavenly Recordings. Although the band features two members, a press release rather enigmatically explains, "DRINKS is a solo project, not a collaboration. It has one mouth, one set of lungs, one mind and four legs."

Scroll past the tracklist to hear the quirky title cut "Hermits on Holiday." That song will be available on a 7-inch with the non-album B-side "Eighteen Teenage Revenge Pair."

Also at the bottom of the page, watch a pooch-filled, VHS-quality trailer for the album featuring the bizarre experimental track "Tim, Do I Like That Dog."
