As the Weeknd pushes ahead with new material, Montreal producer Jacques Greene is harkening back to the noir & B singer's buzzed-about early days by sharing a remix of his House of Balloons track "What You Need."
Greene noted that he made the track in "late 2010/early 2011." This version preserves the soul song's moody nocturnal vibe, and it doesn't depart too wildly from the original arrangement, although Green's fluttering rhythms and murky textures are a little more dense and danceable.
