We Were Lovers Announce Western Canadian Tour in Support of Debut Album

BY Alex HudsonPublished Jun 7, 2013

Saskatoon synth-pop duo We Were Lovers have been making headway for the past few years now, and this summer they will hit the road in Western Canada in support of their debut album, Pyramids.

The band will throw a hometown show this Saturday (June 8), which the group are dubbing the album's "soft release" and where they will reportedly be selling the new record. Then, later in the month, We Were Lovers will hit the road in Western Canada, playing a string of shows in Alberta and British Columbia. They will finish the jaunt with a couple of gigs in the U.S., but the bulk of the shows are on our side of the border.

Scroll past the schedule below to watch a video for the dreamy electronic pop single "Islands." The band are holding a remix contest for the song, with prizes given for the best remixes. The deadline is June 24. Learn more and download the stems over at Bandcamp.
