West Coast pop-rockers We Are the City dropped a new video for their latest single "Keep on Dancing," and they've now announced plans to follow it up with a full album.
Seven more songs will round out the record, which has yet to be written or recorded. In an exciting twist, fans will have 24/7 access to the band's studio process through a live feed. Following completion of the recordings, the album will be (almost) immediately released through Boompa in Canada and Tooth & Nail in the U.S.
Filming is set to begin this coming Monday (October 12) at 3 p.m. EDT through the band's website. Cayne Mackenzie (vocals/keyboards), Andrew Huculiak (drums) and David Menzel (guitar) will "hole up in a recording studio in an undisclosed location" for the sessions, which are expected to last a few weeks.
The final product will mark the band's third LP and the follow-up to 2013 effort Violent.
Assuming all goes well, the band will be ready to hit the road with new material for their upcoming fall dates with Copeland and Eisley.
