We Are Busy Bodies' 10th Anniversary Show Will Be One of the Meligrove Band's Last

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Jul 23, 2015

Toronto-based record label We Are Busy Bodies started back in 2005 "with the intention of releasing records for friends." Now, they're celebrating their 10th year of doing just that. To mark the occasion, the label has announced plans for a special anniversary concert.

The lineup will feature sets from Limblifter and the Meligrove band, and as the Facebook event page points out, it will mark one of the latter's final live performances.

A post from label owner and operator Eric Warner reads:

I regret to inform that this will be one of the last live shows (but not final show) by The Meligrove Band. The band will also be performing at the Elora Riverfest as well as at least one final show in Toronto. This is likely one of less than a handful of live shows left. The band hope to see you at this show.

In addition to the live performances — and fond farewells — the evening will also feature DJ sets from members of the Elwins, Pink Wine, Neon Windbreaker, Limblifter and more.

The event will take place at the Garrison in Toronto on August 6. Doors open at 8 p.m. and you can find tickets here.
