Becoming almost as much of a tradition as a blizzard-less winter in Vancouver, Music Waste organizers have announced there will be another instalment of their annual Winter Waste at the end of the month. The third edition will feature sets from Supermoon, Jay Arner's Energy Slime side-project and more.

A Facebook listing notes that this year's festivities take place at Vancouver's Hindenburg venue on February 27. The night will feature a flurry of local bands, some of which having previously performed at Music Waste proper. This includes the aforementioned Supermoon and Energy Slime, with other sets through the night being performed by steamrolling hardcore crew Brass, darkwave dealers Weird Candle, High Wasted, Poor Baby and Ace Martens.

Entry to the event is $5 before 10 p.m. and $10 onwards. Funds raised will go towards putting on Music Waste in the spring. Though details on the lineup are way off, the next edition of the long-running music festival takes place June 4 to 7.
