Italian prog-metal outfit Ufomammut are upping the stakes in 2015, having announced that they'll undertake their first full North American tour this spring to help support their forthcoming Ecate LP.
Following an April trip across Europe, the trio will make their way over the Atlantic for a month-long tour of North America. It all starts out mid-May in Chicago and will head up into Canada for appearances in Toronto and Montreal. Travelling with Ufomammut for most of these dates are Portland doom unit Usnea.

Prior to this, Ufomammut's only North American shows had taken place in Los Angeles and San Francisco in 2009.
As previously reported, Ecate is Ufomammut's seventh full-length studio effort. It was recorded last fall in the band's rehearsal studio in Sarezzano, Italy. Neurot Recordings delivers the album in North America on March 31, while it arrives in Germany on March 27 and in Europe on March 30.
