Following a few video previews surrounding the making of Ufomammut's upcoming Ecate, the Italian prog monsters have finally unveiled the first taste of the set. You can stream the soul-stomping "Plouton" now.
The track quickly locks into a cyclical bombardment of cranium-crushing drum beats and sludge-soaked, two-note riffs. Though hitting hard the whole way through, "Plouton" picks up the pace and packs in a bunch of spiraling white noise as it approaches its endgame.
