Madlib and Future Islands singer Sam Herring just released an EP under the name Trouble Knows Me, and now Madlib has remixed the track "Streetsweeper."
The EP version of the track is barely more than a minute long, and the remix is similarly concise. It's not too much of a departure from the old-school, loop-driven hip-hop sound of the original song, but the backdrop for Madlib's rapping is less of a soulful swagger and more of a stripped-down plod.
