Drake is the Toronto Raptors' "global ambassador," and the Canadian rap star brought some comical attention to the team last week when a video emerged of him watching a game from court-side and vigorously lint-rolling his pants. Now, the Raptors have got in on the joke by handing out Drake-branded lint rollers.
Last night (April 30), the team handed out lint rollers emblazoned with the team's logo and Drake's OVO owl to fans who showed up for Game 5 of their playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets. They apparently gave out 1,200 of them to fans in the 416 Zone of seating.
That's what the lint rollers look like above. Meanwhile, the Raptors were tweeting with the hashtag "#NoLint."
Drake attended the game, and he even showed up on the big screen next to an image of his lint rollers, so he was clearly in on the joke.
The best part? The Raptors won and took the series lead three to two, meaning that the fans went home happy and with very clean pants.
