Toro y Moi

"Dada Art" (video)

Toro y Moi has been showing off a couple of different sides to himself on his recent releases, from this year's psych-tinged What For? LP to the more hip-hop-leaning Samantha freelease. He recently shared a clip for "Half Dome" from the former, and now he's given some visual love to a trio of cuts off of the latter.

Compiled under the title "Dada Art Music Video," the clip features the audio from "Boo Boo Mobile," "Ambient Rainbow" and "Want" (ft. Washed Out), while the video was directed by Sagan Lockhart, Josh Terris and Toro y Moi himself (real name Chaz Bundick).

The grainy, lo-fi footage shows shots of a couple's money and vodka-fuelled stay at a shady motel before taking a total 180 that finds our protagonist at a family-friendly street carnival. Things get even weirder towards the end of the clip, though there's a cameo from a pretty sweet Brad Pitt oil painting to look forward to.
