Tom DeLonge Announces Novel '...Of Nightmares'

Alien-fearing pop punk dad Tom DeLonge grew tired of talking about his penis at length onstage and singing the same songs about being a horny 18-year-old, so he quit Blink-182 in a "divorce" of sorts. Rather than wallow in regret, he's currently got a plethora of projects on the go. In addition to turning his To the Stars... solo album into a veritable lifestyle brand and production company, he's recently announced one of his 15 proposed novels.

Keeping with DeLonge's recent ellipses infatuation, the book is called ...Of Nightmares. Anyone who's read DeLonge's lengthy social media posts knows that his grammar can be the stuff of nightmares too, but the rocker teamed up with best-selling author to co-write the book.

The first in a planned trilogy, ...Of Nightmares fits into DeLonge's Poet Anderson world, from which he's already dropped a handful of graphic novels. The book is a dystopian thriller about two boys who are orphaned when their parents die in a plane crash.

Currently available for pre-order...Of Nightmares will arrive on October 6 via Simon and Schuster. It'll come with a brand new soundtrack EP from DeLonge's band Angels & Airwaves.
