Back in 2009, literary New Jersey rock outfit Titus Andronicus teamed up with poppy Brooklyn punks the So So Glos for the "Bring on the Dudes Tour." This spring, the two acts with reunite for the aptly named "Bring Back the Dudes Tour."

The outing will kick off at the end of this month and run through most of May. The bands will spend most of their time in the U.S., but the itinerary also includes three Canadian stops: Montreal on April 30, Ottawa on May 1 and Toronto on May 2.

Titus Andronicus frontman Patrick Stickles wrote in a lengthy post on his band's blog, "It is well known that these two bands are as thick as thieves, having shared the stage some 48 times up to this point, continuing to share a practice space, working side by side for the good of the scene at Shea Stadium, and experimenting with a variety of co-habitation arrangements (each So So Glo has, at one point in time or another, been my roommate)."
