UK hipster dance pop duo the Ting Tings can probably buy a mansion now, as it's been announced they've signed with Jay-Z's Roc Nation imprint. The label, which is home to J. Cole, Sugababes and Wale, will release the band's follow-up to their breakthrough debut, We Started Nothing.

According to the Daily Star [via Consequence of Sound], a "source" has said that Jay-Z plans to roll up his sleeves and help with production duties on the album. "Jay is hoping to lend his production skills to some new material," the source said. "The staccato rhythmic style of the Ting Tings sits well with what he does best so that was the attraction. Jay can make them one of the biggest bands across the pond."

When you consider that Jay-Z was responsible for the rise of everyone from Kanye West to Fall Out Boy, it's pretty much guaranteed that the Ting Tings will gain a ton of extra exposure with their sophomore album.
