"Player" finds Tinashe delivering catchy, lovestruck R&B melodies. Production-wise, this is a dance floor-geared number as thudding beats and twinkling synths are streamlined into a four-on-the-floor thump during the chorus. Brown, meanwhile, swings by for a half-sung/half-rapped break.
