The last time Tinashe released a video from her album Aquarius, it was a simple, shadowy affair, but her new clip for "Bated Breath" is anything but.
Directed by Stephen Garnett, this video clocks in at eight and a half minutes, and shows Tinashe decked out in army duds as she wanders around an alien-looking desert, looking exhausted. It's a very cinematic companion piece for the slow-burning R&B ballad, and the singer's writhing convulsions are brought to life by some artful editing.
