After setting up a worldwide release schedule behind her Verde EP, Vancouver-raised solo artist Tei Shi (a.k.a. Valerie Teicher) has now signed to Arts & Crafts for a domestic release. The Canadian edition lands through the imprint April 14.
A press release explains that Verde is the greenhorn release from the Brooklyn-based singer, who had first popped up in 2013 with her track "M&Ms." The upcoming EP release features five new songs, with the shadowy, R&B-inspired "Bassically" having recently been premiered in a video. You'll find the clip down below, as well as a remix by Body Language.
Tei Shi has a number of global dates on the horizon, including stops at Toronto's Bestival in June and at the Squamish Valley Music Festival in August. You'll find details on all of Tei Shi's upcoming appearances below.
