Last month, Toronto's Teenage Kicks announced that the band would be calling it quits via a statement on their Facebook page. But in true Teenage Kicks style, they're not going quietly, as the band will be playing two hometown farewell gigs.

The first of the final shows will go down on April 11 at the Horseshoe Tavern with Chris Cresswell and Northern Primitive, and will see the Kicks thundering through Weezer's classic Pinkerton album in its entirety.

To get you stoked for the show, the band have shared a video for their cover of "Falling for You" from the aforementioned record, and Exclaim! has got your first look at it.

The black and white footage sees the band ripping the tune live off the floor, giving fans a taste of what they can expect at the upcoming live show. Tickets for the April 11 show are available here. The band's final show is slated for May 23 (also at the Horseshoe) and will also feature Orphan Choir and Graeme Kennedy on the bill.

For now, though, watch Teenage Kicks' best Weezer impression in the video for "Falling for You" below.
