Ted Leo and Aimee Mann Team Up as #BOTH

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Feb 21, 2013

Last fall, American singer-songwriter Aimee Mann and punky power-pop prince Ted Leo teamed up for a set of tour dates around the U.S. and Canada, and also hit Europe together earlier this year. It turns out the trips were fruitful for the pair as it inspired them to start a new collaborative project called #BOTH.

Mann revealed the pair's plans on her website, writing that they'll be playing their debut shows next month in California and will be "showcasing songs they have written together." They'll also be playing selections from their respective catalogues.

You can check the U.S. show details down below, where you'll also find a performance of a #BOTH tune, which was filmed in Amsterdam last month.

It's too soon to tell if the band will lay these tracks down in a recording studio, but here's hoping the project moves beyond the stage.

Mann's last LP was 2012's Charmer, while Leo's long-running Pharmacists' most recent album was 2010's The Brutalist Bricks.
