Tame Impala

"Eventually"

Following a snippet that surfaced earlier in the day (May 7), Aussie psych-pop practitioners Tame Impala have unveiled every single second of a their synth-slathered, future-anticipating new single, "Eventually."

The marvelously laid-back piece is enveloped in a hopeful swell of faux-strings, mechano-man beats, various wind-rocked chimes and high thread count falsetto vocals. All of this is tied to a narrative that assumes all of our problems will sort themselves out. As it's cooed in the chorus, "I know that I'll be happier, and I know you will too...eventually."

You can stream the song right now, but Tame Impala's Currents comes our way July 17 via Interscope.

Meanwhile, the group's next leg of North American dates starts tomorrow (May 8) at Austin's Levitation fest and will feature stops in Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal. You'll find all the show info here.
