Surfer Blood

"Slow Six"

As part of Record Store Day (April 20), Florida indie rockers Surfer Blood put out a 7-inch featuring two new tunes set to appear on their upcoming Pythons LP. Don't sweat it if you missed out on a copy, though, as the band already premiered the record's "Demon Dance" and are now streaming the flip, "Slow Six."

The slow-waltzing song gets by on long-lasting guitar bends, shrieks of feedback and JP Pitts' sad-sacky vocals about putting his life in perspective. If you want to stream the song ahead of Pythons proper release on June 11 through Warner/Kanine, you can click on the player down below.

As previously reported, Surfer Blood head out on a North American trip later this month, with Canadian stops scheduled in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver. You can get the details on the trip over here.
