During a recent appearance at the Ottawa Folk Festival, Sun Kil Moon's Mark Kozelek famously freaked out over the sound bleeding from the nearby set from the War on Drugs. As captured in our review, Kozelek said "I hate that beer commercial lead-guitar shit," adding, "This next song is called, 'The War on Drugs Can Suck My Fucking Dick.'"
Though the title's slightly different, Kozelek has indeed recorded a song about the incident. It's called "War on Drugs: Suck My Cock." The admittedly goofy song tells the story of the show, word for word, and the following fall out from various blogs. He also references the crowd he referred to as "drunk hillbillies."
When he first announced the song, he mentioned another song called "Sun Kil Moon: Go Fuck Yourself." Though that's not in the song's title, it is the third chorus of the long song.
