The always busy songwriter Mark Kozelek will soon revisit his Sun Kil Moon project with a proper full-length called Universal Themes. Ahead of that album's release, Kozelek has contributed a cover of Led Zeppelin's "Sick Again" to a new tribute compilation.
The track, which closes out Physical Graffiti, was treated to a bummer folk makeover courtesy of Kozelek. Here, the singer maintains his groaning, ever-sad voice while calmly strumming an acoustic guitar. Eventually some backing instruments, percussion and additional vocals join in, but this sounds nothing like Led Zeppelin.
