The Strumbellas are gathering steam. Having just landed on the Polaris Music Prize long list with We Still Move on Dance Floors, the Toronto group have inked a publishing deal with Domino as they hit the road this summer.
A press release notes that the band's deal with Domino Publishing Company is worldwide. It comes just a couple of months before they reissue We Still Move on Dance Floors in the U.S. on September 9 via Underneath a Mountain Records/The Orchard (the initial Canadian release was through Six Shooter).
As for the tour, it will keep the band on the road for much of the next few months. They will be hitting up lots of festivals, in addition to appearing at venues across the country. They've got Canadian shows in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Alberta and British Columbia, plus a few U.S. stops.
