The Stringers

"Apology" (video)

Ottawa-based alt-rockin' indie kids the Stringers recently released their debut EP See You at 7, and now Exclaim! is bringing you the premiere of the band's brand new video for "Apology."

The clip was directed, shot and edited by Michael McLaughlin and features a handful of dramatic storylines that weave together with the help of the video's female lead. The band members eventually congregate to the same spot, where they pick up their instruments and play.

"We wanted it to be more than four guys playing along to a song in a spooky room, so we spiced it up by bringing on Sarah from Thrifty Kids as the femme fatale love interest," says the band's Marco Ferraris. "It's kind of got a cliché '80s vibe to it, but really genuine at the same time."

He adds, "In the end it's our first 'real' music video and we just want people to have fun watching it."
