"Duets" (video)

Barrie, ON-based roots rock unit Stonetrotter released their latest EP The Truth Don't Look the Same to Me and You late last year, and they're keeping the momentum behind it going with a new video for "Duets." You can catch the exclusive premiere on Exclaim!, right now.

A recent press release highlights the band's knack for delivering "sun-kissed harmonies, sentimental lyricism, and a shrewd sense of melody," all of which shine through on "Duets."

As for the accompanying clip, it was directed by Barsin Aghajan and shot on a farm in Creemore, ON. It opens on footage of the band traipsing about in corn fields and goes on to incorporate shots of vocalists Courtney Dubois and Dave Allen delivering their lines into the camera and artistically captured close-ups of the other band members.

It's packed with rural small-town charm, and perfectly matches the gentle, slightly melancholic pace of the song itself.

The band will be playing live at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern on June 3, but you can give the video for "Duets" a watch in the player below, right now.
