Tomorrow (January 10), Spoon will appear on Austin City Limits, and we can get a taste of the performance ahead of time by checking out their performance of "Inside Out," which originally appeared on 2014's They Want My Soul.
In the clip, we see the band hold down a mellow, swaggering soul-rock groove that's complete with spacious synth swells and a tinkling faux-harp break. All the the while, frontman Britt Daniel prowls the stage with his microphone, at one point dropping to his knees to deliver his gravely, impassioned vocals.
