Smashing Pumpkins Cancel Vancouver Show

BY Alex HudsonPublished Oct 1, 2012

Smashing Pumpkins are currently on the road in North America and are set to play a few shows in Canada. It turns out that the outing will have at least one less date than we expected, since the Vancouver gig has been cancelled.

Billy Corgan and company were due to play the city's Rogers Arena this coming Sunday (October 7). The band have offered no official explanation for the cancellation, but the promoters issued the following statement, "Goldenvoice regrets to announce that the Smashing Pumpkins' upcoming Vancouver show at Rogers Arena on October 7, has been cancelled and is sorry for any inconvenience caused to the fans. Refunds can be made at point of purchase immediately."

As of press time, no other shows have been cancelled. See the updated schedule below.
