Santigold has been causing quite the stir in the music world as of late, as the May 1 release of her upcoming album, Master of My Make-Believe, has been preceded by two music videos ("Big Mouth" and "Disparate Youth") and the news that she's opening for Red Hot Chili Peppers. Now, the pop singer has unveiled the album cover for her new LP.

That's it above. And before you ask "who's that dude sitting in front?" that's Santi dressed up as a man. That's also her as the guards on either side, and in the painting in the background. While you chew on that for a bit, you can also see a video about the making of the album cover at the bottom of the page.

In other Santigold news, it appears that she is planning a collaboration with recently returned rapper Earl Sweatshirt. He recently tweeted, "Niggas really aren't ready. #keys #thingsilearned #earlxsantigold #mattxsyd bawbaw" and wrote, "@Santigold the track is ridiculous..i'll send it soon."

She responded "Sick! Can't wait." Neither can we, so stay tuned for details when they emerge.

UPDATE: Santigold has now confirmed the collaboration with Earl. Speaking to Pitchfork, she said, "It sounds like a fun collab! If it turns out dope, you'll hear it!"
