Last week, alt-country icon Ryan Adams revealed that he's currently in the studio laying down a full-album cover of Taylor Swift's 1989, and followed up the news with some snippets of tracks like "Out of the Woods" and "All You Had to Do Was Stay."
Now, Adams has shared another clip of the latest track he's finished and you can hear a bit of his take on "Wildest Dreams" below. The jangly guitar sticks in line with his promise of the record getting a Smiths-esque makeover, while his vocals add a bit of twang back into the music that fans of Swift's earlier work might be missing.
Additionally, Adams confirmed that he won't be skimping out in the studio and plans to record the deluxe edition of 1989, meaning "Wonderland," "You Are in Love" and "New Romantics" shouldn't be getting left off Adams' final project.
