Though the main edition of Record Store Day takes place in the spring, the celebration of independent retailers has also started to ramp up its Black Friday edition. This year, on November 29, the batch of exclusives will include a new limited 10-inch from Canadian rock icons Rush.
The 10-inch picture disc record will feature "The Garden," the closing song from their 2012 LP Clockwork Angels. On the B-side, it'll include a live version of the song performed with the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble.
The record features artwork from Crankbunny (also known as Norma V. Toraya), who also created animations that were projected on the band's Clockwork Angels tour.
The Garden picture disc will be limited to independent record stores on November 29.
As previously reported, Rush will also release their Clockwork Angels Live LP on November 19 via Anthem/Roadrunner/Zoe Vision.
