Though they appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon every night as the house band, long-running hip-hop group the Roots were also last night's musical guest, promoting their brand new album studio effort, …And Then You Shoot Your Cousin.
Joined by A-Trak, as well as the Metropolis Ensemble, the group performed the album's slow-burning, ethereal single "Never." Shot in soft focus, with everyone wearing black outfits atop a white backdrop, the performance was nothing short of fascinating.
