Damon Albarn spurred some serious curiosity when he announced his project with Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea and Fela Kuti drummer Tony Allen under the moniker Rocket Juice and the Moon. A while back, the group debuted some live material, but now you can listen to a sample of their upcoming self-titled album with the release of "Hey Shooter."
Some may remember Albarn and Allen's previous collaboration in the Good the Bad and the Queen, but with the addition of Flea and guest vocalist Erykah Badu, this tune is sending out some extremely funky psychedelic vibes.
Rocket Juice and the Moon is out March 27 via Honest Jon's Records, but for now you can listen to "Hey Shooter" below.
